Are GAK and Wacker eyeing an Australian?
Both teams are reportedly interested in a 19-year-old striker. He wouldn't be the first Australian in Austria.
Wacker Innsbruck and GAK are reportedly pursuing the same player, as "Sky" reports.
Both teams are said to be interested in Australian Awan Lual. The 19-year-old is currently under contract with the Western Sydney Wanderers but is reportedly in demand on the market.
In addition to the Austrian clubs, teams from the 2. Bundesliga in Germany, the MLS, and other European leagues are also reportedly after the striker. Lual is said to be seeking a transfer to Europe.
Several Australians in the Bundesliga
The Australian recently played in both the domestic A-League and the NPL South Wales (2nd division).
In the top league, he made 12 appearances and scored one goal, while in the second-highest, he had 22 appearances and 19 goals.
