The Frenchman sustained an ACL tear during LASK's 7-0 victory over Kalsdorf in the first round of the UNIQA ÖFB-Cup (Match Report>>>).
As LASK announced in a statement, Harakate will undergo surgery on Tuesday. This means the 24-year-old will be out for several months immediately after his first competitive appearance.
LASK sporting director Dino Buric says: "Ramiz is approaching the situation professionally and with the necessary composure. The surgery will take place on Tuesday, after which we will immediately begin rehabilitation. He will receive the full support of the club."
