Gulliksen Transfer Falls Through: Norwegian Wants Move to Turkey
Tobias Gulliksen's planned move to Norway has fallen through. Instead, the Rapid player could be headed to Turkey.
Tobias Gulliksen's planned departure from Rapid Wien fell through at the last second. The 23-year-old Norwegian was actually supposed to move to Lillestrøm SK. The transfer terms were reportedly already agreed.
As "Sky" reports, Gulliksen was already scheduled to travel to Norway on Sunday. However, the midfielder decided against the move at short notice.
Turkey as a New Option
Now, a new prospect could emerge for Gulliksen. According to "Sky", a club from Turkey is showing interest in the Rapid professional and has reportedly already organized a medical check for the 23-year-old.
Gulliksen had only moved to Hütteldorf in 2025 for a Rapid record sum of 3.8 million Euros. The Norwegian has not yet been able to meet expectations. This season, he has made four appearances, and in the Bundesliga, he is still waiting for his first minute of play.
