This Does Altach Good: "When you get knocked around so much..."

After trailing for a long time, Altach showed character in the final minutes and turned the game around. This particularly pleases free-kick scorer Patrick Greil.

SCR Altach celebrates an important breakthrough with their 2-1 comeback victory against Wiener Austria.

The jubilation at Schnabelholz knew no bounds after the final whistle: After falling 0-1 behind, the Rheindörfler passionately fought their way back in the second half and rewarded themselves with a dramatic home victory.

With this success in the six-pointer, the Vorarlberger temporarily shook off the Austrians, made an important leap forward in the table, and once again proved that their home stadium is a true fortress.

Dream Goal Scorer Greil: "I just thought: What the heck, I'll give it a try!"

The undisputed man of the match was Patrick Greil, who initiated the equalizer and thus the turnaround in the 70th minute with a spectacular free-kick.

"That was very nice, it felt really good. I never really saw myself as a free-kick taker in my career, but today it worked out well. I just thought: What the heck, I'll just try it," the match-winner chuckled after the game on "Sky".

After weeks of exhaustion, the three points did the team's morale a lot of good: "When you take so many punches, it's incredibly important. I am very proud today of how the team performed. We take fewer risks and thus have more stability."

Impressive Substitution: Youngster Eisschill Delivers

The Rheindörfler's morale was particularly noteworthy against the backdrop of unfortunate personnel news.

In addition to Bähre's red card-related absence, Coach Ognjen Zaric had to make an early change when Demaku had to leave the field prematurely with a calf injury.

The young Yanis Eisschill came on for him and integrated seamlessly. "At halftime, we simply decided that we wanted to turn the game around, because it was an extremely important six-pointer against an opponent at eye level," said Eisschill.

"In front of our fans, that simply wasn't enough in the first half; we needed to show more. The fact that we then came back like that, and I was able to play longer, is of course outstanding."

Zaric Proud of "Fortress Schnabelholz"

For Zaric, the home victory was the deserved reward for a significant improvement in performance after halftime. The team rewarded itself for courage and taking risks.

"A very important victory for us. We had to make an early substitution due to injury, but Yanis Eisschill did a really good job. The fact that we turned this deficit around makes me very happy," said Zaric proudly.

Recently, they have once again shown their strength at home: "With our fans behind us, Schnabelholz is once again a fortress. For us, this victory after difficult weeks was a real turnaround, giving us a lot of momentum for the upcoming tasks."

After the successful breakthrough, people in the Ländle are looking ahead with significantly more optimism. On Tuesday, they will face Grazer AK in the cup.
