Ex-Salzburg Player Linked with Rapid
The midfielder from Ghana is said to have attracted the interest of the Hütteldorfers. A club from England is also reportedly eyeing him.
Lawrence Agyekum has attracted the interest of SK Rapid. Transfer insider Sacha Tavolieri reports this on "X".
According to the report, his current club Cercle Brugge is open to a transfer for the two-time Ghanaian international. In addition to the Green-Whites (Rapid), Norwich City from the English Championship is also interested in the midfielder.
The 22-year-old was trained at the West African Football Academy, and Red Bull Salzburg secured his services in February 2022.
Liefering, Salzburg, Liefering, Brugge
After six months with cooperation partner FC Liefering, Agyekum started the 2022/23 season in Salzburg, but was sent back to Liefering after a short time.
In the summer of 2024, the central midfielder was loaned to Cercle Brugge, and the Belgian top-flight club signed the Ghanaian permanently in July 2025.
In the past season, Agyekum made 31 competitive appearances, registering three assists.
