ÖFB Cup today: SV Wallern - SV Ried

In the second round of the UNIQA ÖFB Cup, a derby mood is once again in the air – Bundesliga side SV Ried is visiting SV Wallern (from 7:00 PM in the LIVE ticker >>>).

The Hausruckviertel side is leading the Regionalliga Nord after the sixth matchday. The team of former Ried II coach Julian Baumgartner suffered their first defeat only last weekend. From the first five games, Wallern collected 13 out of 15 possible points, and they also defeated SC Schwaz 3:2 in the first cup round.

The Rieders, on the other hand, have not quite found their stride yet in the ADMIRAL Bundesliga. The 1-1 draw in the opener against Austria Lustenau was followed by defeats against SK Rapid (1:2) and LASK (1:4), as well as a 1-0 win over GAK, before they narrowly lost 2:3 in Hartberg last Sunday.

In the first cup round, SV Ried convincingly won 5:1 against FC Dornbirn.
