The ÖFB team can take a big step towards Nations League promotion on Sunday.

The away game against Kosovo, coached by Franco Foda, marks the end of the major autumn international break. So far, the ÖFB team has remained unbeaten during this period, securing home wins against Israel and Kosovo (both 3-1) and a 2-2 draw in Ireland.

ÖFB national team coach Ralf Rangnick will deploy a starting XI with six changes in Pristina, facing difficult pitch conditions, compared to the 2-2 draw in Dublin.

Bacher Makes His Debut

Alexander Schlager will be the only goalkeeper to play a second game, replacing Florian Wiegele in goal.

In defense, Kevin Danso, who was suspended due to yellow cards, returns. He will play at center-back alongside Felix Bacher, who is making his ÖFB debut. Konrad Laimer moves into the team as left-back, while Stefan Posch retains his spot on the right.

In central defensive midfield, Xaver Schlager and Nicolas Seiwald will line up side by side as usual.

Further up the pitch, the tireless runners Romano Schmid and Patrick Wimmer are also in the starting lineup again. What's new is that Alexander Prass will start as a left-sided number ten for the ÖFB team for the first time, following his strong substitute appearance in Dublin.

In attack, Michael Gregoritsch is given the nod, with the Styrian once again taking over the captain's armband.

ÖFB Starting XI: A. Schlager; Posch, Bacher, Danso, Laimer; X. Schlager, Seiwald; Wimmer, Schmid, Prass; Gregoritsch
