FC Blau-Weiß Linz officially confirms the second transfer of the day!

Dario Kreiker moves from Czech first-division relegated club Dukla Prague to FC Blau-Weiß Linz. His contract with the Linz club runs until 2028.

The 23-year-old wide player developed his footballing skills at FK Austria Wien; in addition to twelve competitive matches for the senior team, he played 28 competitive matches for the Young Violets and 61 for the former cooperation club SV Stripfing.

In the second half of the 2025/26 season, he was active for Czech top-flight club Dukla Prague. He also has two international appearances for the Austrian U21 national team on his resume.

Köllner looks forward to "physically exceptional wingback"

"I am glad that we were finally able to find a solution with Dukla Prague and that Dario is now part of our team. We had him on our radar for a while because, due to his profile and abilities, he is a very exciting player for us in several positions. He not only brings all the requirements we need for wide positions but also has great development potential," says Sports Director Christoph Schößwendter.

For coach Michael Köllner, he brings the ideal prerequisites for the wingback position: "We have been dealing with Dario for a long time. It is all the more pleasing that we can now welcome a player with this profile to our squad. Dario is a physically exceptional wingback who can be used on both wings. His sprint, pressing, and deep running values fit perfectly with the requirement profile of our playing system. With the signing of Dario, we are now optimally equipped on both flanks and very well positioned for the upcoming season."
