Austria Salzburg: Ultras Boycott Due to Blau-Weiß Fans
The away sector in Salzburg is limited. The Linz away fans are understandably disappointed and are now receiving solidarity from the Salzburg Ultras.
On Friday, Austria Salzburg hosts league leaders Blau-Weiß Linz in the ADMIRAL 2. Liga (from 8:30 PM in the LAOLA1 LIVE-Stream >>>).
The team from Linz normally has numerous away fans this season. However, the team will have to do without their usual support.
In the small stadium in Maxglan, there is only space for 156 visitors, while normally 300 to 1,000 fans travel to the away matches of the Linz team.
The Linz fans are planning to travel to Salzburg, as announced by the "Stahlstadt Kollektiv". However, the away sector could remain empty in protest.
Home Fans Show Solidarity
Solidarity is now coming from the home fans. The "Curva Viola" announced that Austria fans will forego their choreography out of solidarity. Furthermore, a ten-minute atmosphere boycott is planned.
This also aims to draw attention to the situation surrounding their own stadium.
