Successfully Operated: Vienna Striker Out for Weeks
The Döblingers will have to do without an offensive player in the coming weeks. He sustained an injury in training.
First Vienna FC will have to do without Tobias Anselm in the upcoming matches.
As the Döblingers announced on Wednesday, the 26-year-old underwent successful surgery for the meniscus injury he sustained in training and will now be unavailable to the club for several weeks.
The attacker's injury was initially treated conservatively, but now a surgical procedure was necessary.
The former Bundesliga striker played his last game on October 16 in the 2-1 victory against ASK Voitsberg, and has been missing from the Döblingers ever since. This season, Anselm has recorded one goal and one assist in eight league games so far.
