Schwarz-Weiss Bregenz secured a 4-0 victory against FAC in their home stadium on the sixth matchday of the ADMIRAL 2. Liga. The Viennese's hoped-for cup revenge thus failed to materialize.

The hosts got off to a perfect start. After just two minutes, the ball found the net for the first time. A cross set up Fetahu, who converted to make it 1-0.

Sonnleitner's team, however, struggled. Bregenz once again combined their way into the penalty area. Omotehara managed to break through and extend the lead to 2-0 (18').

The game subsequently became more physical. Schneider and Cesco received yellow cards after a foul, before tempers flared and Fetahu and Kirnbauer were also cautioned (32').

Fetahu Scores from the Penalty Spot

The hosts continued to press and were awarded a penalty in the 39th minute after a foul by Osmani on Fetahu. The fouled player stepped up and made it 3-0. After Osmani missed a chance shortly after (43'), the teams went into halftime with a 3-0 lead and a total of seven yellow cards.

Sonnleitner reacted at the start of the second half with a double substitution, but Bregenz once again proved to be more aggressive in their play off the ball.

This was evident in the 52nd minute. After a set piece, the ball found its way to Cesco, who shot just over the bar. The visitors registered their first real attempt on goal after about an hour, but it also posed no danger.

At the other end, however, there was a chance for a 4-0 lead. Fetahu initially found no one to convert his cross, then Rodrigues narrowly missed with a header (65').

Late Goal Makes it 4-0

Kirnbauer had the best chances for FAC (78', 90'), but he could no longer improve the scoreline. However, another goal fell for Bregenz. Santos set up Araki. His shot was deflected, leaving the goalkeeper with no chance.

In the league table, Bregenz are in fourth place after the win, while FAC are fifth on equal points. For the hosts, it is also their third triumph in their third home game.
