SKU Amstetten wins 4-2 against Young Violets in the 6th round of the 2. Liga.

The lightning start after 42 seconds set the Lower Austrians on course for victory. Marco Hausjell equalised twice for Austria, but it wasn't enough for points this evening.

Amstetten thus overtakes the Viennese in the standings. In the next round, Amstetten awaits the "Falcons" from Kapfenberg, while the "Young Violets" face the small Vienna derby.

Fastest Goal of the Season

The Lower Austrians started like a house on fire. Immediately with their first attack, they charged at full speed towards the "Young Violets'" goal.

After a long ball, Armin Haider was through, keeping his composure in front of Stefan Blazevic in the Austrians' goal. He squared the ball to Joshua Steiger, who only had to tap it into the empty net (1st minute).

Thus, after 42 seconds, he scored the fastest goal of the current Second Liga season.

Subsequently, it was an open game, but the guests from Vienna showed courage.

And that was rewarded in the 20th minute. Wilhelm Vorsager flicked on a corner kick to the far post, and Marco Hausjell headed in to level the score at 1-1.

Amstetten is the Viennese striker's favourite opponent. It is already his seventh goal in his 13th game against SKU.

Dream Goal: Köchl with Solo Effort

Amstetten remained unfazed by the equaliser from Favoriten.

Just four minutes after Hausjell's goal, Felix Köchl put on a great show. Cutting in from his right flank, the wing-back left two Austrians standing and blasted the ball into the top left corner (24th minute).

Just two minutes later, top striker Peham had a shot in the penalty area, but it went just wide of the goal (26th minute). What a reaction!

Hausjell Bags Brace

The "Young Violets" showed morale and flair.

Marcel Moswitzer impressively beat two opponents and laid off to Hausjell, who scored his eighth goal against Amstetten (58th minute).

But this game was topsy-turvy. Immediately from the kickoff, Amstetten attacked, and Köchl also grabbed his brace, heading in to make it 3-2 (59th minute).

And five minutes later, Felix Köchl definitively left his mark on the game. In the 64th minute, the 24-year-old scored the 4-2 after a free-kick routine. However, the Favoriten side showed absolutely no resistance even in the penalty area.

Austrians Bring Fresh Legs, Still No Turnaround

Maximilian Uhlig made several substitutions a quarter of an hour before the end to give his team new impetus.

However, this only had a limited effect, and the 4-2 final score remained unchanged.

The Lower Austrians can thus celebrate their second win of the season, while the Young Violets remain on nine points.
