The captain leads the way, securing the first three points for the Südstädter in front of their home crowd.
Admira celebrated their first home win of the season in the 6th round of the ADMIRAL 2. Liga, securing a 1-0 victory against Kapfenberger SV.
The Südstädter dominated the first half and immediately established the final score in the 16th minute. From a free-kick 20 meters out, Forst laid it off for Gemicibasi, who smashed the ball under the Kapfenberg wall into the right corner (16').
The visitors from Styria created two dangerous opportunities through Marinovic before the break. In the 33rd minute, the KSV player's header was thwarted by Steinbauer, and shortly after, he sent the ball over the goal following a cross (42').
After the break, KSV pressed forward without creating any concrete goal threat. Ultimately, Admira left the field with their first victory in front of their home crowd.
The Lower Austrians consequently improved to eighth place in the table, while Kapfenberg remained in last place.
