The guests from Vorarlberg get off to a better start. After a free-kick cross from Daigo Araki, captain William Rodrigues rises highest and heads in for the early lead (5th).

Liefering, however, quickly finds their way into the game. After a cross from Moser, Riquelme only hits the crossbar (10th). A little later, the 18-year-old tries a curling shot himself, but narrowly misses the target (13th).

Leles scores spectacular equaliser

The "Young Bulls" subsequently get better and better into the game. Jakob Zangerl tests Bregenz keeper Peter Kwame Aizawa with a long-range shot, and Moser also appears dangerously in front of goal several times before the break.

At the other end, Daigo Araki misses a great chance to make it 2-0. After a cross from Genta Omotehara, he fails to put the ball into the net from close range (24th).

Shortly before the half-time whistle, Liefering finally rewards themselves for their period of pressure. Jakob Werner delivers a pinpoint cross into the box, where Yuri Leles rises high and perfectly heads the ball into the top right corner (44th).

Sarcevic blunders again

Moser remains in the changing room at half-time after a committed performance. Raphael Kosakiewicz comes on for the 18-year-old.

Bregenz starts better again and takes the lead again in the 51st minute. Lars Nussbaumer tries a long-range shot. The shot, which was actually centrally placed, becomes a problem for Liefering goalkeeper Nikola Sarcevic: the 19-year-old unluckily deflects the ball into his own goal.

Thus, the goalkeeper commits another serious mistake after last week's 1-4 defeat against Blau-Weiß Linz. Bregenz even has the chance to extend their lead afterwards, but fails to capitalize on it.

Liefering subsequently struggles to create clear-cut chances. A free-kick from Filip Aleksic is deflected for a corner in the final quarter of an hour (75th).

Matjasec saves Liefering

Ten minutes before the end, the Salzburgers still get the equalizer. Miha Matjasec brings the ball into the penalty area from the side. The cross gets longer and longer and finally dips impossibly into the far corner (80th).

In the final phase, neither team manages to score the decisive goal. Liefering improves to eighth place with 14 points, Bregenz remains on twelve points and falls back to eleventh place after their fourth winless game in a row.
