Mikaela Shiffrin: "I'm a big fan of granny panties"
The US skier has achieved almost everything in her career, but the search for the ideal underwear is still ongoing.
Ski superstar Mikaela Shiffrin is certainly not going through an easy phase at the moment.
Her fiancé Aleksander Aamodt Kilde suffered a serious injury during training in Chile >>>
Even before Kilde's injury, Shiffrin was a guest on the "What's the Point" podcast hosted by Kylie Kelce, wife of former NFL center Jason Kelce. There, she was available for some fun conversations.
Among other things, the two women talked about the search for ideal underwear.
Shiffrin has not yet found perfect underwear
Shiffrin openly admitted: "I'm a big fan of granny panties."
However, the US skier is still looking for the perfect underwear: "I'm currently on a six-year journey to find well-fitting and comfortable underwear. I need to get some tips because I really need help with that."
Season starts next week
Shiffrin is also currently looking for the ideal turns for the Sölden giant slalom. The first race of the new World Cup season will take place on October 24 at the Rettenbach Glacier.
This season, the 31-year-old American wants to focus on Super-G and giant slalom. In her specialist discipline, slalom, she only wants to compete occasionally.
