The Seattle Seahawks (3-3) suffer their third defeat on the sixth gameday of the current NFL regular season.

Away against the Denver Broncos (4-2) on Thursday, they suffer a 14:17 loss after overtime.

The game initially starts exactly to the Broncos' liking, as they take a 14:0 lead in the second quarter with touchdown runs from RJ Harvey and JK Dobbins.

Seattle forces overtime, but Darnold throws the game away

However, Seattle fights, allows no more points, and claws its way back into the game. Shortly before the end of regulation, a successful 34-yard field goal from Jason Myers sends Seattle into overtime with the score tied at 14:14.

In overtime, Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold commits a costly error: He throws his second interception of the day, this time to Ja'Quan McMillan. All Denver has to do next is kick the field goal: Will Lutz attempts from 53 yards and converts for a 17:14 victory for the Broncos.
