MotoGP in Spielberg: New All-Time Low for Spectator Numbers
Visitor numbers continue to decline. This year once again saw fewer spectators than the previous year.
MotoGP in Spielberg continues to suffer from dwindling spectator numbers. This year, the trend of recent years persisted.
While 117,560 fans flocked to the Red Bull Ring last year, this year only 101,500 lined the grandstands.
Before the race weekend, 24,020 visitors arrived, followed by 31,182 on Saturday and a respectable 46,298 on Sunday. Despite this, the bottom line is another deficit.
If organizers wish to avoid falling below six-figure attendance next year, measures are required.
