Bizarre! Marquez inherits Sprint win unchallenged from Martin

Marc Marquez temporarily reclaims the MotoGP World Championship lead.

The Ducati rider inherits the Sprint win in Indonesia from Jorge Martin, who surged forward from fifth place at the start, while pole-sitter Raul Fernandez and Martin's Aprilia teammate Marco Bezzecchi took each other out.

After a few laps, however, Martin seemingly dropped back behind Marquez without a fight, who subsequently secured the win ahead of Ai Ogura and Fabio Di Giannantonio.

The reason for this is not immediately apparent, but could be related to tire pressure issues. Shortly after, Martin also ran wide, ultimately having to settle for fourth place.
