The World Championship leader from Italy secured the fastest time in Q3 of Spa-Francorchamps qualifying with a time of 1:44.361 minutes.
The Mercedes driver was ultimately a massive 0.371 seconds faster than Max Verstappen, who recorded the second-fastest time.
Norris Third, But Gets Grid Penalty
Lando Norris qualified in third place, 0.440 seconds behind Antonelli, but will only start Sunday's race from 13th position.

George Russell (Mercedes/+0.508 sec.) therefore inherits third on the grid. Behind him, the starting order looks as follows: Charles Leclerc (Ferrari/+0.532 sec.), Lewis Hamilton (Ferrari/+0.534 sec.), Oscar Piastri (McLaren/+0.655 sec.), and Arvid Lindblad (Racing Bulls/+0.782 sec.).
Hadjar Sacrificed
Red Bull driver Isack Hadjar is "sacrificed" in Q3 for his teammate Verstappen to give the Dutchman a slipstream. He did not set a time.
