Mature performance! Norris "takes his chance" in wet Brazil
The Brit rewards himself with his third victory after a strong weekend. It is redemption after the world champion's embarrassing moments at the start of the season.
Brazil, you simply belong in Formula 1!
In 2026, the race in Interlagos once again delighted fans with plenty of excitement and an engaging race progression.
Ultimately, Lando Norris—now a former world champion following Kimi Antonelli's world title win a week ago in Mexico—was able to celebrate his third victory of the season.
He kept a cool head both during the rainy chaos of qualifying and on Sunday, rightfully celebrating a well-deserved win.
Norris after the Brazil victory: "It was a tough race"
Although the victory by nearly 15 seconds ahead of Verstappen turned out to be quite decisive, the race under changing conditions was far from easy for Norris.
"It was a tough race. The most important thing was to stay cool and not make any mistakes. I had the pace when I needed it," said the Briton.
For Norris, after victories in Hungary before the summer break and upon returning in August at Zandvoort, it was the third win in what has been a far from easy season for him.
McLaren fought their way back to the top with updates
The early part of the season in particular was more than disappointing for McLaren and the world champion. Multiple mechanical failures left the Briton and Oscar Piastri in despair in Australia and China.
Only after several upgrades did the "Papayas" return to the front of the grid, and they intend to fight for the world championship title again next year.
