After penalty chaos in Brazil! This is the starting grid:
Qualifying in Interlagos was defined by true weather chaos. Several penalties have caused a major shake-up.
Heavy rainfall led to a long and chaotic qualifying session for the Brazilian Grand Prix.
In the end, Lando Norris (McLaren) claimed pole position and will start the GP from first place. That was far from a given in Brazil this year.
That is because Max Verstappen (Red Bull) and Lewis Hamilton (Ferrari) changed their power units and will have to tackle the race from the back of the grid.
George Russell (Mercedes/+5) and Charles Leclerc (Ferrari/+10) also incurred engine penalties.
As a result, a very intriguing starting grid has emerged.
