Isack Hadjar will also not be able to compete for championship points at the Spanish Grand Prix.

Red Bull Racing announced this on Monday evening in a statement after the Italian GP. The 21-year-old Red Bull driver had injured his hand in mid-August and was therefore forced to watch the races in Zandvoort and Monza from the sidelines.

It is now clear that the newly created street circuit in Madrid also comes too soon for the Frenchman.

Return in Baku?

As a result, Liam Lawson will once again replace Hadjar in the Red Bull cockpit. Yuki Tsunoda also gets another opportunity to prove himself in the Racing Bull, having unexpectedly scored a championship point in Monza.

According to Red Bull, however, Hadjar is making great progress with his recovery process.

The 21-year-old could therefore return at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. The race weekend in Baku begins there on September 24.
