Kimi Antonelli also impresses in the USA!

The likely champion secures pole position for the United States Grand Prix at the Circuit of The Americas.

With Max Verstappen (2nd) and Isack Hadjar (3rd), both Red Bull drivers make it into the Top 3. Behind them are the Ferrari duo of Charles Leclerc (4th) and Lewis Hamilton (5th).

George Russell (6th/Mercedes), the McLaren duo of Oscar Piastri (7th) and Lando Norris (8th) complete the Top 10 along with the two Racing Bulls drivers Arvid Lindblad (9th) and Liam Lawson (10th).

Alonso impresses with Aston Martin in Q1

However, Alpine misses Q3 with Pierre Gasly (11th) and Franco Colapinto (14th). Haas also fails to reach the qualifying final with Nico Hülkenberg (12th) and Gabriel Bortoleto (13th). Furthermore, Alonso (15th) likely fails (to reach Q3), but he impresses with the leap into Q2. Oliver Bearman (16th/Haas) also fails to make it into Q3.

There are no surprises in Q1. For Esteban Ocon (17th/Haas), Lance Stroll (18th/Aston Martin), the Williams duo of Carlos Sainz (19th) and Alexander Albon (20th), and of course for the two Cadillac drivers Sergio Perez (21st) and Valtteri Bottas (22nd), the day in qualifying ends very early.

Kimi Antonelli will have his first chance to become Formula 1 world champion for the first time tomorrow.

This would also make him replace Sebastian Vettel as the youngest champion after 16 years (to the Antonelli story >>>)
