Aston Martin will continue to back Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll beyond the 2026 season.

Both drivers have extended their contracts with the Formula 1 team.

This ensures the most experienced driver pairing in Formula 1 remains with the team. Stroll will embark on his eleventh season in the premier class in 2027, having accumulated over 200 Grand Prix starts and three podium finishes.

Contract Duration Not Disclosed

Alonso has been driving for Aston Martin since 2023. The two-time world champion has since competed in 85 Grands Prix for the team, securing eight podium finishes, including two second places. With a total of 440 Grand Prix starts, the Spaniard holds the record for the most race appearances in Formula 1.
