"Vienna needs an arena that becomes a tourist attraction"
At the roundtable with Andy Ogris, Ing. Kurt Zöchling discusses his unique project for a multifunctional arena in Vienna's Prater.

The 72-year-old Viennese is considered a visionary and has been working for 13 years on a spectacular stadium project to promote youth and sports.
Zöchling is an inventor and designer. No one commissioned him to design a new arena.
"When I'm asked if Vienna needs a new football stadium, I always say a clear no," explains Ing. Zöchling.
"Experience & Entertainment" are the keywords he has at the top of his list for his flagship project.
Sustainability and multifunctionality are to be paramount for the stadium, planned with 60,000 seats.
Year-round utilization with summer, winter sports, and major concerts is planned. A sports hotel, a national sports museum that offers everything imaginable, gastronomy, and nightlife are also part of the project, as are environmental and climate protection (renewable energies such as geothermal and ambient heat, as well as photovoltaics and wind power) which are included in this showcase model.
At the Roundtable with Andy Ogris - moderated by LAOLA1 Editor-in-Chief Peter Rietzler - Ing. Kurt Zöchling also speaks about potential financing and the added value as a new tourist attraction for Vienna.
Why Andy Ogris was disappointed by the French performance in the World Cup semi-final, who impressed him from Spain, and what Ing. Kurt Zöchling has to say about the stadiums at the World Cup in the USA, is revealed by the two in the 191st episode of the LAOLA1 Roundtable presented by ImmoScout24 (Video and Podcast).
