Unfortunate Collision! Salzburg Forward Feared Seriously Injured
Florian Baltram remains on the ice covered in blood after a collision with Fehervar's Michael Farren.
The last home game of EC Red Bull Salzburg before the international break has been overshadowed by a serious injury to Florian Baltram.
The 29-year-old forward collided unluckily with Fehervar's Michael Farren in the neutral zone in the 13th minute of play. Baltram was hit by the Canadian, who was trying to avoid his opponent, with an elbow to the temple.
The Vienna native crashed face-first onto the ice and remained lying there covered in blood. Medical personnel immediately rushed to him, and Baltram was stretchered off the field a short time later.
At present, there are no further details regarding his health condition.
