Spain has to miss their final training session before the World Cup final (Sunday, 9:00 PM in the LIVE ticker >>>).

In New Jersey, there was a severe weather warning, which meant the training on the pitch could not start at the scheduled time. It was initially postponed before later having to be cancelled.

"The training of the Spanish national team at the Melanie Lane training ground in New Jersey was cancelled in accordance with US safety regulations for thunderstorms. The players are currently completing an activation session indoors," the association was quoted in a press release.

Argentina also worried about training

Argentina had more luck. There were also concerns about training at the New York Red Bulls' facility.

However, the second finalist was able to complete it after the weather improved.
