2,359 fans watch the game live on site, setting a new attendance record in the Austrian Women's Bundesliga.
The Austria players get off to a perfect start. With their very first chance, they take the lead: After a through ball to Pfanner, she plays it across, and the Rapid defense cannot clear the ball decisively. Elisa Pfattner is perfectly positioned at the back and scores with a well-placed shot to make it 1-0 (4').
After that, Austria continues to dictate play and gets another top chance through Sandra Jakobsen (20'). Rapid shows effort but can barely create any offensive momentum.
Austria Extends Lead to 3-0 Before the Break
In the 30th minute, Austria strikes a second time. Louise Schöffel drives down the right side and serves a low cross to the unmarked Modesta Uka, who extends the lead to 2-0 with her fourth goal of the current Bundesliga season.
Just five minutes later, it gets even worse for Rapid. After a free-kick cross, Leidler unluckily puts the ball into her own net, making it 3-0 at halftime.
Rapid Down to Ten After Yellow-Red Card
After the change of ends, the task becomes even harder for Rapid. Captain Sandrina Haupt receives a yellow-red card after her second foul and has to leave the pitch.
Austria remains dominant even with a numerical advantage, but initially does not create as many chances as in the first half.
In the final phase, the 'Veilchen' (Violets) finally add more goals. Jakobsen converts another strong low cross from Schöffel to make it 4-0 (70'), and just three minutes later, Sisic scores with a spectacular free-kick for 5-0 (73').
Patricia Pfanner secures the final score of 6-0 in the 85th minute.
