The Sturm Women secured a convincing victory against LASK on Friday evening, maintaining their position at the top of the league table.
SK Sturm Graz Women remain at the top of the ADMIRAL Frauen-Bundesliga table.
The Styrian women defeated LASK 5-0 at home on Friday evening.
After half an hour, the hosts were already leading by what would become the final score. In addition to an own goal by the visitors, four different Graz players also added their names to the scoresheet.
In the second half, the Graz women understandably slowed the pace and saw out the home victory.
Austria and St. Pölten Can Catch Up
The Graz women currently remain ahead of SKN St. Pölten and Wiener Austria. The two pursuers are back in action on Saturday and can reduce the lead to one point again.
The LASK Women are still unable to challenge for a top-four spot and remain in sixth place.
