Women's Bundesliga: Sturm Graz remains undefeated

SK Sturm Graz secured a 3-0 victory against FC Blau-Weiß Linz/Kleinmünchen on the sixth matchday of the Women's Bundesliga.

The Graz women thus gain important points for the table and temporarily reclaim the top spot. The still undefeated St. Pölten women have one point and one game less.

Rapid Start for Graz

The first goal in Linz came after just nine minutes. Keutz gave her team the lead. Less than ten minutes later, the visitors celebrated again.

This time, Maierhofer converted for the 2-0 lead (17'). The Upper Austrians found no answer against the Graz women, who remain undefeated this season.

Keutz Scores Hattrick

The third goal came before halftime. Again, it was Keutz who was able to tap it in. In the second half, the home team was able to close down spaces better.

Keutz's goal for 4-0 (52') was the last goal of the afternoon, completing her hat-trick.

In the table, Sturm leads after six games, while Linz (also six games) is second to last with four points.

Austria Also Victorious

Wiener Austria was also successful on Sunday.

The women from the federal capital won 5-0 away against SpG Südburgenland/TSV Hartberg.

The Vienna women were able to celebrate for the first time in the sixth minute when Weiss scored an early lead. Before halftime, Wenninger extended the lead to 2-0 (44').

The visitors continued to have everything under control. Sisic completed the 3-0 in the 53rd minute, before Pfanner added the fourth goal six minutes later.

Substitute Pichler sealed the deal shortly before the end, scoring the goal for the 5-0 final score (89').

For Hartberg, this means they continue to wait for a success after six games. Currently, they are bottom of the table with two points. Wiener Austria is third (5 games).
