Substituted due to injury: Concern for Austria talent
Nnodim was substituted early in the first half. A lengthy layoff could be looming.
Daniel Nnodim had to be substituted due to injury in the 41st minute of the ADMIRAL Bundesliga match against Austria Lustenau (now in the LIVE ticker >>>).
Before that, the 18-year-old had violently collided with Lustenau's Danilo Soares and subsequently remained lying on the pitch.
On his way to the locker room, Nnodim had to be supported by two staff members; he could apparently put only minimal weight on his left leg.
According to "Sky", Nnodim faces a severe knee injury. He had only extended his contract until 2030 at the end of August.
