Klopp drops Ilzer's protégé from Nations League squad
The Hoffenheim youngster will have to watch Klopp's debut from the stands. However, he will be in the squad for the second match.
Even before the start of his era as Germany's national team coach, Jürgen Klopp has to drop a player from his squad.
24 players are in his initial squad. However, since only 23 players are allowed in the matchday squad, one must watch the opener against the Netherlands (at 20:45 in the LIVE ticker >>>) from the stands.
The player affected is Bambase Conte, who plays under Christian Ilzer at Hoffenheim.
However, Conte might get his chance in the second match against Greece. Then another player will be missing – and Conte could celebrate his debut for Germany.
