Konrad Laimer Is Back on the Pitch

Konrad Laimer is currently not part of the training camp with the ÖFB national team.

Sascha Horvath was called up as a replacement for the injured Bayern player. His absence for the first two matches against Israel and Kosovo was officially announced by the ÖFB.

However, it was not ruled out that he might still join for the last two games against Ireland and Kosovo.

There is some hope in this regard. According to "Bild", he completed a light rehabilitation session on the pitch on Wednesday. Whether he will actually still travel to join the team remains to be seen. However, the international matches might still come a bit too soon.
