Match-winner Joao Felix: Portugal defeats Wales

Portugal kicks off their UEFA Nations League A campaign with a 1-0 home win against Wales. Joao Felix (22') scores the decisive goal.

In Lisbon, there's a head coach debut for Portugal: New coach Jorge Jesus continues to rely on Cristiano Ronaldo in his premiere. The 41-year-old, however, does not add to his goal tally (146 for the national team) in his 234th international match.

A supposed goal by the superstar is disallowed due to a narrow offside call. Although the Portuguese take the lead through a long-range shot from Joao Felix (22'), they are made to sweat for the victory until the final whistle despite a clear advantage in chances.

The Welsh hit the woodwork fifteen minutes before the end, and Ronaldo's involvement ends after 66 minutes.

Match-winner Haaland, Greece with a comeback

Norway scores twice in the first 20 minutes in Oslo. After Oscar Bobb (14'), Erling Braut Haaland (18') makes it 2-0.

The Danes pull one back through Mikkel Damsgaard (25'), and former Sturm Graz player Rasmus Höjlund (60') levels the score at 2-2 after an hour.

Once again, it's the star who has to deliver for the Norwegians. Haaland (74') registers goal number 64 in the national team jersey – in his 56th appearance for the national side. In injury time, Norway's David Wolfe is sent off with a yellow-red card (90'+3).

Greece stages a late comeback in Serbia for a 2-1 victory. Andrija Zivkovic gives the Serbs an early lead (4'), before Arsenal's Christos Tzolis (74') and Anastasios Douvikas of Como (90'+5) turn the game around.
