Philipp Hosiner to play in the Regionalliga in the future
The former Austria goal-scorer will be on the pitch in the Ostliga after the end of his professional career.
Philipp Hosiner joins FCM Traiskirchen. The striker was registered as a new signing with the Ostliga club.
Hosiner had ended his professional career with the Young Violets at the end of last season. The 37-year-old returned to the "Violets" from Germany in 2023.
Hosiner to play alongside Sax and Schobesberger in the future
In the 2012/13 season, he fired Austria to the Bundesliga championship title with 32 goals as top scorer.
In Traiskirchen, Hosiner will be coached by former LASK coach Thomas Darazs. Thomas Ebner, Maximilian Sax, and Philipp Schobesberger are other players with Bundesliga experience in the Lower Austrian squad.
The signing of Hosiner's cousin Patrick Schmidt is also being considered.
