Austria's top talent Ifeanyi Ndukwe experienced a rollercoaster of emotions during his starting XI debut in La Liga on Monday evening.

In the 13th minute, the Austrian was still responsible for the opposing goal that made it 0-1, but in stoppage time, the 18-year-old became the hero of the match against FC Sevilla with his equalizer, making it 3-3.

Despite the early error, Ndukwe managed to impress. Levante coach Luís Castro had words of praise for the Austrian after the game: "He showed great mentality. He wasn't affected by the mistake and won many duels."

Castro added: "Not everyone can still deliver such a performance after a mistake like that."

Great Future for Ndukwe

The Portuguese coach believes the defensive talent has a bright future ahead: "If he continues to develop normally, he could become one of the best in his position," said Castro.

The former Austria youth player moved to FC Liverpool in the summer and is currently on loan at Levante UD. After his performance against Sevilla, Ndukwe can hope for further starts from the beginning.
