The Croatian national team's number one, Dominik Livakovic, is reportedly on the verge of a move to FC Barcelona. The goalkeeper is expected to sign a contract until summer 2030.

Currently, the 31-year-old is under contract with Fenerbahce Istanbul. However, Ederson is established as the first-choice goalkeeper there. Last season, Livakovic was therefore loaned out to Dinamo Zagreb.

At FC Barcelona, however, he is also likely to be the second or third-choice goalkeeper. Joan Garcia is the established starter in goal for the Catalans. The current reserve goalkeeper is Pole Wojciech Szczesny, who will likely end his career at the end of the season. A transfer fee of two million Euros plus bonuses is being reported.

Until Szczesny's career ends, it is considered likely that Livakovic will be loaned out by Barcelona again. The medical check with the Catalans is expected to be completed in the coming days.
