Former Salzburg Player Set for Liverpool Exit to LaLiga
The former Salzburg loan player is expected to play in LaLiga again. He's returning to his youth club.
Stefan Bajcetic (21) is now likely to leave Liverpool permanently. According to transfer insider Matteo Moretto, the "Reds" have reached an agreement with Celta Vigo. The midfielder is initially planned for the second team in LaLiga2.
For Bajcetic, it's a return to his roots. He was developed by Celta between 2013 and 2021 before moving to Liverpool at a young age.
Played 19 Times for Salzburg
He made 22 appearances for the "Reds'" first team, with his last outing there recorded in 2024.
In autumn 2024, he was on loan at FC Red Bull Salzburg. In winter, after 19 games, he returned, followed by another loan spell at Las Palmas in LaLiga. He played 14 times for the Spanish club. He was sidelined with injury for the past season.
