How the Possible Opponents of Austrian Clubs Played

Austria's European Cup participants already know their possible opponents should they advance in their respective competitions. This is how they fared in the first legs:

Rapid, Austria, Sturm Graz, and Salzburg also keenly looked abroad today.

While Rapid won 3-1 away against FC Santa Coloma in Conference League qualification, the result for their potential third-round opponents was tighter.

Paide Linnameeskond (Estonia) managed to prevail 1-0 against Zira (Azerbaijan).

Austria wins in Latvia

Wiener Austria also celebrated a victory. The "Violets" can cheer after a 2-0 win against FK Liepaja in Latvia (to the match report >>>).

Beitar Jerusalem also celebrated a victory. The club won 1-0 against AEK Larnaka.

Salzburg Starts Competition in August

It was quiet for Salzburg and Sturm Graz today. Salzburg will only enter the UEFA Europa League third qualifying round on August 6 and 13.

The "Bulls" will face the winner of the duel between Hajduk Split and Pafos FC (Cyprus). The Croatians currently have better chances of advancing. Their home match ended 2-0.

Sturm Celebrates Clear Victory

Sturm Graz had already celebrated a clear 4-0 victory >>> against Heart of Midlothian FC from Scotland on Tuesday in the Champions League second qualifying round. The match was played in Austria.

Should the good result not be enough for advancement, they would continue in Europa League qualification. Among Sturm's possible opponents in EL qualification, St. Gallen managed a narrow 2-1 win at home against Benfica.
