Laimer Confirms: Decision Made on Bayern Future
The ÖFB star has revealed what's next for him.
Konrad Laimer is extending his contract with FC Bayern.
The ÖFB international confirmed this himself on Monday to several German media outlets, after he was spotted leaving the club's headquarters on Säbener Straße.
According to media reports, the 29-year-old is committing to the German record champions until 2029, and with bonuses, he is expected to earn over ten million euros gross per year.
Arrived on a free transfer from Leipzig
Laimer has been under contract with Bayern since summer 2023, joining then on a free transfer from RB Leipzig.
Initially planned as a midfielder, the ÖFB star has developed into a key player as a full-back. In the past season, Laimer played 47 competitive matches, in which he registered three goals and nine assists.
At the 2026 World Cup, he played in all four matches for Austria.
