Baidoo Comeback in Lens Win Against Lyon
Samson Baidoo makes his comeback in Ligue 1. On his return, he and Lens win the all-Austrian centre-back duel against Felix Bacher and Lyon.
On the 6th matchday of Ligue 1, Austrian international Samson Baidoo makes his comeback in the 2-1 victory against Olympique Lyon.
The centre-back is substituted in the 53rd minute. Lens were the better team in the first half and deservedly took a 1-0 lead through Sotoca after a Thauvin assist (36').
In the 76th minute, Thauvin once again sets up the 2-0. Udol scores with a header, effectively sealing the win. Merah brings Lyon back into the game late on (85'), but it's not enough for a comeback.
Felix Bacher plays the full match for Lyon. OL thus misses the chance to climb to first place in the table and remains second. Lens climbs to seventh place after the win.
