"Costly Victory" - Five Salzburg Players Injured
The "Bulls" secure a 1-0 win against Pafos, but potentially lose a quintet of players to injury. One player was particularly badly hit.

"A win for Enrique," Danny Röhl dedicates his first European Cup victory as "Bulls" coach to Enrique Aguilar.
The young Swiss player fell awkwardly in the final phase of FC Salzburg's 1-0 victory over Pafos FC (Match Report>>>) after a foul by the subsequently sent-off Ken Sema, sustaining a horrific injury to his right wrist.
A precise diagnosis is still pending. However, having seen the severe images, it can be assumed that Aguilar will not avoid surgery and will therefore be out for Salzburg for an extended period.
"A costly victory," Röhl sighs, also referring to Damir Redzic, Soumaila Diabate, Gaoussou Diakite, and Edmund Baidoo, all of whom also suffered more or less severe injuries against Pafos.
"We Have a Squad Capable of Handling This"
Redzic and Diakate each took a knock; for the latter, it is not yet known if he sustained a muscle injury in the process.
Baidoo, who was reintegrated after a strike, definitely sustained a muscle injury; the Ghanaian limped off the field with a bandaged thigh.
Only for Diabate is there slight reassurance from Röhl: "Hopefully, it's not too serious for him."
At the same time, the German emphasizes: "But we don't want to complain. We have a squad that is capable of handling this."
