TSG Hoffenheim continues to wait for the desired breakthrough.

Christian Ilzer's team suffered a 2:3 defeat in their Europa League home game against Besiktas – their fourth in a row.

Internationally, the Sinsheimers still have zero points, while in the German Bundesliga, the club is in a relegation spot after five matchdays. Hoffenheim captain and former DFB keeper Oliver Baumann is now sounding the alarm. "The situation is, of course, dangerous. And we are still at the beginning," said the 36-year-old.

"It Pisses Me Off"

"Before you know it, you're halfway through, and then it's winter. We are simply conceding too many goals and that pisses me off," he adds.

Head coach Christian Ilzer is also clearly frustrated. "We are disappointed. It's annoying to lose the fourth game now 2:3," said the Austrian, who had almost led the club to the UEFA Champions League last season.

"In such phases, there is always the danger, of course, that one loses confidence in oneself, in the bigger picture," he warns.

Next Sunday, there will be a major crisis duel in the German Bundesliga: TSG Hoffenheim will visit the still-pointless bottom-ranked team, Borussia Mönchengladbach (from 5:30 PM in the LIVE-Ticker>>>).
