Following Daniil Khudyakov's serious injury, Sturm Graz has made a move in the transfer market and signed a free agent goalkeeper.

Adam Stejskal joins the "Schwoazn" team with immediate effect. The 24-year-old Czech played for WSG Tirol for the past three seasons, making 95 Bundesliga appearances. However, Stejskal had been a free agent since summer.

Sturm's Sporting Director Michael Parensen says about the signing: "After Daniil Khudyakov's serious injury, we wanted to complete our goalkeeping team again and be well-prepared for the rest of the season both qualitatively and quantitatively. We are very pleased to have found a very good solution with Adam Stejskal for this."

Helac remains number one

Nevertheless, Ammar Helac will guard the goal for the Grazers in the upcoming matches. "He (Stejskal) will contribute with all his might until the end of the season and fully support Ammar Helac, who will be our number 1 in Daniil's absence, and be there when we need him," explains Parensen.

The new Sturm player is looking forward to the new challenge: "Coming to a new club in the middle of the season is never entirely easy, but I am fully in training and immediately ready to get started. I am very happy to be at SK Sturm now."
