SK Rapid Wien celebrates their third victory in their third game, winning overwhelmingly against GAK with an 8-0 scoreline.

Already in the first minute, Dahl missed the lead by mere centimeters. Rapid did better with their next opportunity: Seidl's shot first hit the post, and Ercan Kara tapped in the rebound for an early 1-0 lead (5th minute).

Just seven minutes later, Kara struck again. The attacker powerfully headed a perfectly placed cross from Jannes Horn into the net, completing his brace (12th minute).

Adamsen Scores for the First Time

Rapid continued to press thereafter: Following an assist from Dahl, Tonni Adamsen extended the lead to 3-0, scoring his first Bundesliga goal (14th minute).

The GAK defense continued to struggle. In the 42nd minute, Cvetković was left completely unmarked on a cross from Seidl and headed in to make it 4-0.

Rapid struck again before half-time: Seidl found the unmarked Adamsen with another cross. Stanković initially managed to parry his header, but the goalkeeper was powerless on the subsequent tap-in. After a lengthy VAR review, the goal stood for a 5-0 lead.

Feldhofer Makes Two Half-Time Substitutions

GAK coach Ferdinand Feldhofer reacted at half-time with a double substitution. Nevertheless, Stanković was immediately forced into two brilliant saves shortly after the restart: First, he defused a long-range shot from Yusuf Demir (52nd minute), then he strongly parried a close-range shot from Kara (54th minute).

In the 56th minute, however, Stanković was powerless. Following an assist from Amane, Demir curled the ball beautifully into the far corner, extending the lead to 6-0.

Adamsen Still Not Done

Still not enough, Jannes Horn hammered the ball against the crossbar from about 20 meters. Adamsen converted the rebound with a spectacular shot to make it 7-0, completing his hat-trick (74th minute).

Adamsen sealed the 8-0 final score in the 87th minute after an assist from Tilio. It is Rapid's highest victory since 1985, when the Hütteldorfer also defeated GAK 10-0.
