The competitive season 2026/27 begins - with the first round of the UNIQA ÖFB Cup.

Among others, SV Ried will be in action on Friday. The Innviertel side visits regional league team FC Dornbirn for the cup opener (from 6:30 PM in the LIVE ticker >>>).

Dornbirn finished last season in fifth place in the Regionalliga West. SV Ried, however, won the Bundesliga qualification group but missed out on a European spot.

After Maximilian Senft moved to Karlsruher SC, the match in the Ländle also marks the competitive debut of new Ried head coach Mario Despotovic.
