Ralf Rangnick's team will face their third group opponent, Ireland, in the capital on Thursday as part of the UEFA Nations League (from 20:45 in the LIVE ticker >>>).

After their 3-1 opening victory against Israel and another 3-1 win against Kosovo, the ÖFB team is aiming for a third victory in their third match.

However, Rangnick's team enters the match somewhat depleted. Four players – Christian Zawieschitzky, Nicolas Veratschnig, Paul Wanner, and Sascha Horvath – have already been forced to withdraw due to injury. At least Bayern player Konrad Laimer is back.

After a 1-0 opening defeat against Kosovo, the Irish were able to rehabilitate themselves with a politically charged 3-0 away win against Israel. The match against Austria in Dublin will determine the top spot in Group 3 of Nations League B.
