Schwarz-Weiß Bregenz has successfully brought two Japanese players to Vorarlberg.

As reported, Yusei Shima and Keita Saito are joining the Austrian second-division club.

Shima is 19 years old and most recently played in Sweden for Hammarby IF. However, the left-back did not make an appearance for Hammarby's first team. In Bregenz, he receives a contract until the end of the season.

Experienced striker also arrives

Saito is considerably more experienced: The centre-forward is 33 years old and comes from partner club Tochigi City. In the past season in Japan's second division, Saito scored three goals in nine games.

However, Saito's experience in Japan is limited to the second division. In the J1 League, he only made one appearance in his entire career.

The striker, who is now embarking on his first international stint, also signs in Bregenz until the end of the season.
