Austria Salzburg Signs Player with Ample Bundesliga Experience
The Tyrolean brings 90 appearances in the ADMIRAL Bundesliga to Maxglan. Last season, he was relegated with Blau-Weiß Linz.
SV Austria Salzburg can look forward to another Bundesliga-proven player.
Simon Pirkl (29) moves to Maxglan after the expiration of his contract with Blau-Weiß Linz.
The left-back brings the experience of 90 Bundesliga appearances and 163 matches in the ADMIRAL 2. Liga.
Two Tyroleans Find Each Other
Pirkl, like Austria sporting director Roland Kirchler, is a Tyrolean. "I am very happy to be part of the Austria family! Since I've known Roli for a very long time, I had a good feeling right from the start.
