In Round 9 of the ADMIRAL LigaZwa, Young Violets draw 2-2 against Hertha Wels.

In the early stages, the visitors from Wels are the better team. The momentum from last week's win against Bregenz is palpable.

The Upper Austrians make their first appearance through Drame, who tests Blazevic with a long-range shot. However, the young goalkeeper of the Young Violets is able to save it (7').

Wels plays, Austria scores

The Favoritner (Young Violets) don't really create any chances until the 25th minute, and Hertha Wels has the game well under control.

Then, however, Feddersen gets too much space on the left side. He looks for Mörth in the box with a cross, and the attacking player controls the ball perfectly, leaving Schrocker no chance. He makes it 1-0 (25').

The goal has an effect. The "Violets" are the better team and put pressure on the second-to-last team in the 2. Liga.

In the 40th minute, Jerabek initiates a quick counter-attack on the left side and once again serves Mörth in the center. He perfectly plays it on to Brandt at the far post, who makes it 2-0.

Wels starts well after the break

The Upper Austrians win the ball early and immediately look for depth. Roider can only help himself with a foul in the penalty area, resulting in a penalty.

Malinowski confidently converts the subsequent penalty, reducing the deficit to 1-2 (51').

After that, it's clear that this goal also has an impact, and Wels presses for the equalizer. A shot from Drame goes just wide (60').

Late equalizer for Wels

In the 83rd minute, the great Malinowski show begins. The attacking player dribbles past two "Violets," takes a shot from about 20 meters out, and sensationally smashes the ball into the top far corner. With his brace, he makes it 2-2.

Just two minutes later, the Upper Austrians even have a huge chance to take the lead. Brugger gets a header after a cross, but Blazevic dives and makes a superb save.

Wels still creates chance after chance, but they can no longer score the 3-2. Thus, Hertha Wels moves up to 14th place and out of the relegation zone, while the Austrians remain third for now.
